Summer Concert Series

Hayward Odd Fellows Sycamore Lodge #129 is partnering with H.A.R.D. and local non-profits for a series of 7 Free Concerts this Summer on one Saturday in June and a series of Sundays from August to September at the Hayward Memorial Park.   


Enjoy a variety of music such as Rock, Blues, Big Band and Jazz, Rockabilly, Beatles tunes, and Celtic!  Bring blanket, lawn chairs, a picnic (no alcohol), and enjoy an afternoon in the park with Music, Art, Dance & Chess!  Kids of all ages are welcome to come create chalk art!  Chess players, bring your chess moves or come to learn!

with the Kenny Meagher Experience and Mike & the Mawesomes to benefit the Hayward Odd Fellows Youth Mural Program

Sunday August 5, 2012  -  Rock-a-billy featuring Stay Away Joes to benefit the Hayward High School Band Booster Club

Sunday August 12, 2012  -  Blues featuring NiteCry with the Sycamore Lodge Revue to benefit FESCO (Family Emergency Shelter Coalition); Beatles featuring Two of Us to benefit the Mt Eden Choir Booster Club

Sunday August 26, 2012  -  Big Band Music featuring Three O’Clock Jump and the Herd of Cats to benefit the Hayward-La Honda Music Camp.

Sunday September 9, 2012  Beatles featuring No Fly Limit with the Two of Us to benefit the Mt Eden Choir Booster Club

Sunday September 16, 2012  Celtic Celebration to benefit the Hayward Education Foundation

Sunday September 23, 2012 - Original rock/pop music with Kari McAllister & the Sweetspots and Sezu to benefit the Lighthouse Community Center http://lgbtlighthousehayward.org

All activities will be at the Hayward Memorial Park, 24176 Mission Blvd. Program runs from 1-5 on most Sundays from August through September 23 and is free to the public.   A tot lot is nearby, as is a lovely hiking trail, indoor pool (the Hayward Plunge), tennis courts and plenty of free parking. This magnificent local park is managed by the Hayward Area Parks and Recreation District, the premier agency in the greater Hayward area.  


Each event will showcase and feature one of our area's fine 501 c 3 non-profit groups which do much of the heavy lifting in the community.  All donations received go to the featured 501 c 3 non-profit of the day and are tax deductible.
